Ghosts and Castle
The main character is a knight on foot, dressed in plate armor: he is able to run, jump, climb stairs and use various types of weapons.
The first time the knight is hit he remains in his underwear, the second time he dies, turning instantly into a pile of bones. The difficulty of the game is very high, so much so that the premature appearance of the Game Over screen is far from infrequent.
Game mode
The game is mainly horizontally scrolled, but often it also proceeds upwards. The rider can walk, jump, crouch, climb ladders, as well as use ranged weapons. It is protected by a plate armor; when hit the first time it loses a heart, when it is hit the third time it loses a life.
In some cases you can even lose a life instantly, for example when it rushes into water or when time runs out.
There are various types of enemies coming from the fantasy world, the game starts in a cemetery populated with zombies, but then we meet carnivorous plants, ghosts, bats, orcs and many other horrid creatures: among the most difficult, the red monsters, flying beings from the unpredictable trajectories present in almost all levels. Some enemies carry jars: if they are eliminated the knight will be able to get hold of what is contained in the containers; it can be a bonus point, a weapon, or even a new armor if you are left without.
All weapons are "shot" horizontally, with unlimited ammunition. The player can get new weapons from the jars, replacing the previous one, but always in the same order:
Knight spear: this is always the initial weapon
Torch: present in all levels, it releases a short flare even at the point where it falls, but has a curved trajectory
Dagger: present in all levels, faster than the spear
Ax: present starting from the second level, it can pierce more enemies, but it has a curved trajectory like the torch
Enjoy again and defeat the forces of evil with this vintage game like the arcades of the 80s.
Note: The game has been optimized for the unique smartphone gaming experience and may differ somewhat in previous versions.
